The Woodsboro Community Hospital is a location in Woodsboro, California where the residents come for medical attention. It appears in Scream 4 (2011) and Scream (2022).
Original 1996 Woodsboro Massacre
The hospital is not seen in the original massacre, but dispatches its EMTs in the ambulances for Sidney Prescott after her first attack at 34 Elm Street, Woodsboro, California.
- A deleted scene revealed Sidney's full address, but was cut for timing purposes. It is later referenced by Tara Carpenter in the beginning of the fifth film, as she references the Stab version of the character who "lived on Elm".
The EMTs of the hospital are called to Woodsboro High School as well as the Woodsboro Police to see the principal was murdered; gutted and hung on the football field. The EMTs leave due to Arthur Himbry already rendered deceased.
The Hospital dispatches its EMTs once more for the Macher Residence, 261 Turner Lane, ending the original massacre. Dewey Riley is seen to have survived and taken to the hospital. At the hospital, Randy Meeks, Neil Prescott and Sidney get immediate medical attention from their wounds of the previous night.
Second Woodsboro Murders (2011)
During the Woodsboro Massacre Remake, high schooler Jill Roberts and her 32-year-old cousin, Sidney Prescott get medical attention after an encounter with Ghostface in her next-door neighbor, Olivia Morris's house.
- Deleted Scene: Jill's mother, Kate Roberts is present and looks after her daughter. Trevor Sheldon, Jill's ex-boyfriend, comes to see her, only for her to get angry with him when he says a phrase out of Sidney’s book (that he claimed to her he didn’t read) and ask him to leave.

Deleted scene of Trevor Sheldon and Jill Roberts.
Sidney is informed by Steven Orth's brother, a radiologist attending, Dr. Danny Orth, that she has no broken bones, and that she is lucky. Her publicist Rebecca Walters tries to approach her about another opportunity. She is very insensitive about both her readers for the book, Out of Darkness (2011, published by Random House) and the realness of the current situation. As a result, Sidney fires her publicist as she walks away from her.
Sometime later, Rebecca exits the main hospital building on floor six. She is called and later attacked by Ghostface in the hospital parking garage structure. Moments later, she is carried four stories up and thrown from the top of the parking garage structure onto a news van outside, where a press conference for Olivia Morris' murder is occurring.
Later, Gale Weathers is hospitalized after she is stabbed in the left shoulder by Ghostface at the third annual Stab-A-Thon, which took place at an abandoned farm on Fort Dillon Road. She remains there until Sidney and Jill are taken in for their injuries.
Sidney and Jill are taken from Kirby Reed's residence, 329 Whispering Lane to the hospital after they are discovered to have survived their wounds. Sidney Prescott was treated in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). Sheriff Dewey Riley checks on them both, but speaks to Jill, as she is awake. He reveals to her that Sidney survived, secretly enraging Jill who waits for Dewey to leave, planning to murder her.
Jill goes to her room, where she is in recovery, and attempts to strangle her. Jill gets the upper hand until Dewey arrives. Jill attacks Dewey when he least expected it. Before Jill can turn her attention to Sidney again, Gale comes in to see Sidney on the ground. Before Jill can shoot Gale, Deputy Sheriff Judy Hicks saves her by tackling her behind a hospital bed.
Jill orders them to come out or she will kill Dewey. Judy slowly rises and she is ordered to give up her gun. Judy throws the gun and attempts to talk her down and is shot by Jill. She then orders Gale to get up and walk over towards her. As Gale wants to get one final word, Sidney emerges and shocks Jill with the defibrillator. Gale checks on Dewey and Sidney, and Sidney delivers the final shot to her as she tries to attack them one final time.
Another day in the hospital, Judy offers her lemon squares and tells Gale to keep her promise. Gale and Dewey visit Sidney in the hospital as she recovers.
Third Woodsboro Murders (2022)
Tara Carpenter is severely injured from her encounter with Ghostface in her home and is hospitalized.

Wes Hicks calls her sister, Samantha Carpenter, and asks her to meet her at the hospital. Richie Kirsch, her boyfriend, accompanies her and they meet her close friends Wes, Mindy Meeks-Martin, Chad Meeks-Martin and Amber Freeman there with Tara. They eventually leave Tara to give her some space. Tara is there with police presence to look for answers.
Tara is later left unattended when Wes and Judy Hicks are murdered and she attempts to flee once she sees an officer, Deputy Clay, has been murdered near the hospital help desk. Sam and Dewey Riley arrive in time to save Tara Carpenter and Richie Kirsch, but before escaping in the hospital elevator to the main floor, Dewey attempts to kill Ghostface once and for all, but is distracted by his phone and is killed by Ghostface in the hospital hallway.

The hospital dispatches their EMTs to Amber's house at 261 Turner Lane (formerly Stu Macher's). Outside of the residence, Mindy and Chad are taken out on stretchers to the ambulance and taken to the hospital while Sidney and Gale receive medical attention.
Dewey's Death
As Tara attempts to flee the hospital from the killer, Sam and Dewey arrive in time to save Tara and Richie. Dewey fights off and shoots Ghostface into a glass surface. However, before escaping in the hospital elevator to the main floor, Dewey tells them to go.

He reloads his gun and walks towards where Ghostface is laying unconscious and attempts to finish off Ghostface once and for all with a shot to the head. Dewey is distracted by his phone and killed by Ghostface in the hospital hallway. Ghostface gutted Dewey saying, "It's an honor." implying the honor of killing him as a long time survivor of the massacres.

Trivia
- In Scream, the hospital is not a scene; however, off-screen they visit for medical attention.
- Gale possibly visits the hospital for medical attention after the events of the original Scream.
- For Scream 4, they cut many hospital scenes because it became redundancy for things that took place at the hospital.
- It's unknown, but likely, Kirby was taken to the same hospital to recover from her wounds having survived the second massacre as well concluding Scream 4.
- Tara asks to go to another hospital in comic relief after the Woodsboro Legacy Murders ended.
