The Woodsboro High Class of 1997 was the high school graduating class of Sidney Prescott and other Woodsboro High senior students born between September 1978 and August 1979 in Woodsboro, California.
Other notable alumni include Randy Meeks and Judy Hicks (both deceased). During their senior year, the graduating class dealt with the Woodsboro Murders, which was caused by fellow Woodsboro High seniors, Billy Loomis and Stu Macher.

Woodsboro Murders[]
Due to the Woodsboro Murders in September 1996, would-be graduating alumni Casey Becker, Steven Orth and Tatum Riley did not graduate due to their murders by their fellow classmates.
Aftermath[]
Graduates Sidney Prescott and Randy Meeks relocated to Ohio where they attended Windsor College. Sidney studied theatre while Randy studied film. In his sophomore year, Randy Meeks was murdered. Sidney Prescott was given an honorary graduation after the killings in her sophomore year and later became a best-selling author. Alumni Judy Hicks became Woodsboro Sheriff prior to her murder.
