Scream (1996 film)[]
Brown was one of the first people to be cast for the movie. He landed the role of Kenny, one of the major adult characters. At the time, he was a normal weight for someone his size, but the script called for Kenny to be overweight, so Brown gained twenty pounds.
His wife, high school sweetheart Carrie, visited the set and he played a prank on her by tilting his neck up, revealing the opened gash in his slit throat makeup. He also criticized why his character's death scene was cut. According to the MPAA, Kenny's death wasn't too graphic, but too "disturbing". Brown says that because it's murder, it should be disturbing. He has many fond memories from working on the film.
Scream (2022 film)[]
His character's surname is revealed to be Brown, an Easter egg ode to the actor who portrayed him.
