Plot and Setting[]
A year after the brutal murder spree, the Riverdale Eight is trying to move on from the murders, as they gear up for their high school graduation. However, following an attack on a survivor, and another murder in Riverdale, the survivors realize the murders are happening all over again.
Returning Character Descriptions[]
DANIEL RIDGEMONT (18)- The main target of the Riverdale murders, he now lives with Jackson and his father. He is still dating Veronica, and when the murders start back up, Daniel thrusts himself into the murders once again, fighting back.
JACKSON JONES (18)- The secondary target of the Riverdale murders, Daniel now lives with him. He is still dating Betty. After the Riverdale murders, Jackson shut down writing for his book. However, when the murders start back up, he reopens the files.
BETTY COOPER (18)- The main final girl of the Riverdale murders, she is still dating Jackson. Following an incident, Betty believes the murders are not over, and when a survivor is killed, she is proven right as the killing spree continues.
VERONICA LODGE (18)- The secondary final girl of the Riverdale murders, she is still dating Daniel. Veronica, sick of being protected by Daniel, works with her fellow survivors to stop the killers, and end the spree.
RONNIE RAYMOND (18)- Following the murders, Ronnie has moved on the most, having been a minor target. However, when the murders start back up, he must work with his fellow survivors, becoming a larger target.
CONNOR SIMPSON (18)- Following the murders, Connor has tried to move on as much as possible with Cheryl and Bridget. However, when the murders start back up, Connor will work to protect the people he cares about.
CHERYL CLEARWATER (18)- Following the murders, Cheryl is still dating Connor and is trying to move on. However, when the murders start back up, Cheryl will find herself a major target, even more than last time.
BRIDGET SIMPSON (18)- Following the murders, Bridget has tried to move on with her brother Connor. However, when the murders start back up, Bridget will find herself working with her fellow survivors to find the killers.
RIPPER GHOSTFACE (??)- Following a one year break, Ripper is back, becoming the new mastermind killer. He, along with his two partners, work to finish off the Riverdale Eight and their new friends. He will be revealed by the end of the story.
NIGHTMARE GHOSTFACE (??)- Following a one year break, Nightmare is back, along with his original partner Ripper. He continues his inventive murder spree. He will be revealed in the third and final story.
New Character Descriptions (except minor ones)[]
NEW GHOSTFACE (??)- The new killer, he wears a combination of the Father Death and Brandon James costumes. He considers himself the best killer, and a combination of the best parts of all four original killers. He is revealed by the end of the story.
F.P JONES (41)- Jackson's father, he has opened his home to Daniel. However, when the murders start up, F.P becomes a target of the new killings, and will find himself fighting for his life.
DAKOTA GREGG (18)- Bridget's new boyfriend, he is apart of the survivors' friend group. When the murders start up, Dakota will work to protect Bridget, becoming a target along the way.
SASHA RICHARDS (18)- A girl obsessed with the Riverdale Eight, she has a grudge against the survivors for very good reason, and will try to destroy them.
ALEX MURPHY (18)- The new girl, she is the sheriff's daughter, and is very mysterious, finding herself being a suspect among the survivors.
LUKE MURPHY (41)- The new sheriff in Riverdale, he is working to find a suspect in the murders, as more and more people are murdered.
SARAH WALKER (30)- A guidance counselor, even after the teens graduate, they still come to Sarah for advice as the murders heat up.
JAKE WONG (35)- Luke's main deputy, he works with Luke to find a suspect, while also going on a rogue solo investigation with the teens.
IRIS SANDERS (38)- The new mayor of Riverdale, Iris becomes a target as the killers continue their murder spree, trying to stop the murders.

Episode One: Return of the Ghostface Killers[]
After a brutal attack, the survivors are on edge. After making a new enemy, the survivors continue moving on, until one of their own is killed.
Episode Two: The New Kid []
Following a survivor's disappearance, the survivors become worried about them. However, they have a new problem. They are introduced to New Ghostface.
Episode Three: Graduation Day []
As the survivors begin getting ready for their high school graduation, a brutal murder occurs, and a shocking body of evidence is discovered.
Episode Four: Loss of a Friend[]
Following the shocking loss of a Riverdale Eight member, the teens reel from the death of someone close to them.
Episode Five: Slashers and Suspects[]
When Luke and Jake search for evidence, a suspect is officially made. Ripper and Nightmare make a shocking move on Riverdale much quicker than expected.
Episode Six: Lovers and Attackers[]
Daniel tries to make a killer theory. Jackson becomes the next target in the killers' game, causing an attack on him and a fellow survivor.
Episode Seven: Hunt to Save a Friend[]
Following a kidnapping, some of the Riverdale Eight are thrust into a terrifying game initiated by New Ghostface to prove himself. He will by the end, as a survivor meets their end.
Episode Eight: Search Party[]
The now Riverdale Six deal with another loss. Meanwhile, Daniel, Veronica, Jackson, and Connor go on a hunt for answers, leading to a shocking revelation about one of our killers.
Episode Nine: Much Too Late[]
Following his reveal, the Riverdale Six must deal with New. Meanwhile, another victim meets their brutal end as things heat up and tensions rise.
Episode Ten: Loss of Words[]
Following tons of evidence disappearing, and more murders, the investigation comes to a halt. Meanwhile, someone is kidnapped.
Episode Eleven: The Road Ahead[]
After a search for answers, another person meets their end. Meanwhile, the kidnapped person is found, and a suspect is arrested.
Episode Twelve: No Time Left[]
Following an arrest, the survivors believe the murders aren't over yet. They are proven right, leading to the final battle, as more people meet their end, and the final showdown with Ripper occurs.
Episode Detailed Summaries[]
Episode One: Return of the Ghostface Killers[]
We open on Betty. She is walking through her house. Just then, she gets a phone call. She answers. The caller says hello. She recognizes the voice as Ripper Ghostface. She hangs up. Just then, she gets another phone call. It's Jackson. She answers. Jackson asks her if instead of her driving to the party, he'll pick her up and they can carpool there. Betty says that's a good idea. She hangs up. Just then, there is a loud beating on her door. Betty goes to open it. A hooded figure jumps out. He tackles Betty. Betty pushes him off of her. She runs to the kitchen. The figure follows her. Betty grabs a knife. She lunges at the figure. He grabs her. She kicks him in the leg. He lets go of her. She takes her knife, and drives it into the figure's heart. He falls to the ground. She takes off his hood. She doesn't recognize the man. But he is now dead.
Betty is standing on her own. Jackson pulls up. He pulls her into a hug. He asks if she's okay. She says she is. Sheriff Luke and Deputy Jake walk up. Betty asks who that guy was. Luke says the guy was named Parker Richards. Jake says they checked his phone. Luke says that he was payed to come and kill Betty. Jackson and Betty stare shocked at the cops. Jackson asks if Betty will get in any trouble for the death. Jake says she won't because she acted in self defense. Jackson says that him and Betty are gonna go.
We cut to Veronica's house. The Riverdale Eight is having a party. Ronnie says that their little Betty has broken the internet. Veronica asks what happened. Ronnie says that Betty killed someone. Daniel asks what happened. Ronnie says that someone was hired to kill her but she killed him. Connor says that is horrible. Bridget says for no one to bring it up because it probably wasn't a good experience. Cheryl says that Betty and Jackson are here. Just then, the two walk in. They hug their friends. Betty asks if they heard what happened. They lie that they haven't. However, Betty can tell they have. She says it's ok. Connor says that as long as she's okay, than they are too. Betty smiles and thanks her friends. Just then, Daniel pulls out a case of alcohol. He says they aren't gonna just stand there. Everyone cheers.
We cut to later. Daniel and Veronica are sitting together. Daniel says tonight was fun. Veronica agrees. Daniel looks at his girlfriend. Veronica asks if he wants to stay that night. Daniel says he'd love to. We cut to Jackson and Betty. They are sitting together. Betty says that after the attack, she's scared to be alone that night. Jackson asks her if she wants him to stay with her that night. Betty says she'd love that.
We cut to later. Ronnie is walking home from the party. He is obviously kind of drunk. Just then, he gets a phone call. He answers. It's Nightmare Ghostface. He asks Ronnie if the party was fun. Ronnie asks the caller who they are. The caller says that doesn't matter, and that what matters is what they will do. Ronnie hangs up. He looks around. He begins running. He runs into the woods. He looks around. Just then, a pointed flagpole is thrown through his leg. Ronnie falls to the ground. Nightmare walks up to him. He pulls the flagpole out of Ronnie's leg, and knocks him out with it.
We cut to the next day. The Riverdale Eight, minus Ronnie, are walking to class. Just then, Dakota runs up. He kisses Bridget. He asks Betty if she's okay after last night. Betty says she's okay. Dakota tells her to stay clear of that Sasha girl. Betty asks why. Dakota says it's because Parker, the guy Betty killed, is Sasha's dad. Betty looks at Sasha, who is giving her an evil look.
We cut to a bit later. The teens are in Guidance class. Their guidance counselor, Sarah Walker, walks in. She says hi to her students. She says that she hopes her students have had a good day so far, and says that today, they will talk about anything the students need to. We zoom to Betty and Veronica. Betty asks Veronica if she's seen Ronnie. Veronica says she hasn't since he left the party last night. Betty looks concerned. We then zoom to Daniel and Jackson. Daniel looks behind him. There is a girl watching him. Daniel asks who the new girl is. Jackson says her name is Alex Murphy, and that she is the sheriff's daughter.
Daniel and Jackson arrive home from school. F.P sees them. He asks them where they were last night. Daniel says he stayed with Veronica, and Jackson says he stayed with Betty. They apologize for not telling him they weren't coming home. F.P says it's okay. Daniel and Jackson walk upstairs to their rooms. Jackson goes into his room. He turns on his computer. He goes to his old files. He opens the file titled, "The Riverdale Murders". Jackson's voiceover begins. He says that he thought the murders were over, but based off what happened the previous night to fellow survivor Betty Cooper, it may be long from over.
We cut to Ronnie. He wakes up. He's tied to a table. He asks where he is. Just then, a hooded figure walks up. They're wearing a long poncho, combing the cloak from the Father Death suit, and the cloth poncho from the Brandon James suit. His mask is also a combination of the Father Death and Brandon James masks. Ronnie asks him who he is. The figure introduces himself as New Ghostface. He pulls out a knife. New says he is here to have some fun with Ronnie until Ripper is ready. He stabs Ronnie in the chest. Ronnie cries out in pain. New stabs him in the side. Ronnie passes out from the wounds.
We cut to nighttime. We are at the old abandoned high school from Season One. Ronnie wakes up, revealing this is where he is being held. He is laying on the table. Ripper walks up. He is holding the flagpole. Ronnie says this can't be it. Ripper says that it is. He impales Ronnie through the stomach with the flagpole. Ronnie cries out in pain. He looks at Ripper. He tells Ripper to kill him, because his friends will get revenge. Ripper says they'll have to wait and see about that. He impales the flagpole through Ronnie's throat. Ronnie Raymond, Riverdale Eight member, is dead. Smash to black.
Episode Two: The New Kid[]
We open on Ronnie's dead body. Ripper stares at it. He begins laughing evilly. Nightmare and New walk up. They see Ronnie's body. Ripper says the deed is done. It's the beginning of the end of the Riverdale Eight. The killers all laugh maniacally. Ronnie gets a text. Ripper grabs his phone. It's a text from Daniel. It reads, "Didn't see you around today. You ok?" Ripper responds with, "Yeah, just wanted to clear my head before graduation. But trust me, I won't miss it."
We cut to the next day. Mayor Iris Sanders is standing on the football field where the graduation will take place. A worker walks up. He asks her what she's looking at. Iris says she can't believe someone would steal the flagpole. We cut to the empty space where the flagpole was, reminding us of Ronnie's death.
Iris walks away. The now Riverdale Seven and Dakota are walking through the school. Betty sees Sasha. Betty says she'll be right back. She walks up to Sasha. Sasha asks her what she wants. Betty says she's really sorry about Sasha's dad. Sasha says it's Betty's fault Sasha's dad is dead. Betty says that Sasha's dad tried to kill her. Sasha says that her dad was a good man. She pushes Betty against a locker. Betty smacks her. Sasha stares at Betty. Sasha tackles Betty. They punch each other on the ground. Jackson pulls Betty off of Sasha. Connor pulls Sasha away. Sasha stomps away.
We are at the police station. Luke and Jake are talking. Jake says they need to figure out who hired Parker Richards to kill Betty Cooper. Luke says he has a theory. Jake asks what the theory is. Luke says that last year, when the Riverdale murders were happening, it was believed there were four killers. However, only two were revealed. What if the two other killers are trying to finish the job? We see that Alex is listening to them. She walks away.
Betty is sitting at home. Just then, her phone rings. She answers it. It's New Ghostface. He says that Betty has a new figure in her life. One that wants to ruin it. Betty asks the caller who they are. New says he's a force to be reckoned with, and that soon, very soon, he will make his voice known. Betty hangs up. She looks around, scared. She drops the phone on her bed and walks out.
Connor and Bridget are sitting together. Connor asks how things are going with Dakota. Bridget says that they are really good, and that she feels like she can really trust him. Just then, Cheryl and Dakota walk up. Connor kisses Cheryl, and Bridget kisses Dakota. Cheryl says she can't believe what happened to Betty with Parker. Connor says he can't believe that Betty and Sasha tried to beat the hell out of each other. Dakota says these last few days have just been full of surprises.
Daniel is walking on the street. Not paying attention to his surroundings, he bumps into Alex. He says he recognizes her from school. She says that he's number one. Daniel asks what that means. Alex says that Daniel is the main survivor, ranking him number one. Daniel asks if Alex ranked them all. Alex says she has. Daniel asks where Veronica is ranked. Alex says that Veronica is number four. Daniel says she should be three. Alex says that Betty is number three. Daniel smirks. He says that people make it all a joke. All just one big game. But it's not. Daniel says that no one really knows the Riverdale Eight. He walks off. Alex watches him.
Daniel and Jackson are sitting together. Daniel tells Jackson about Alex ranking them. Jackson says that is very creepy. Jackson asks if Alex may have some creepy obsession with the Riverdale Eight. Just then, Daniel gets a phone call. He puts it on speaker. It's New. He says that the Riverdale Eight has a new targeter and that soon, he'll have a bullseye on each of their heads. Daniel hangs up.
Jackson and Daniel look at each other. Just then, there is a loud noise in the back yard. Daniel and Jackson look at each other. They stand up, and walk to the back yard. They open the back door, and walk outside. There is no one there. Just then, New jumps out. He tackles Jackson. He pulls out a knife. He goes to stab him, but Jackson pushes him off. New jumps up. He grabs Daniel, and pins him against a tree. He places the knife against Daniel's throat. Jackson hits New in the back. He lets go of Daniel. New runs away. Jackson and Daniel look at each other. They run inside. Just then, F.P runs up. He asks what happened. Jackson and Daniel look at him, then back at each other. Smash to black.
Episode Three: Graduation Day[]
Daniel and Jackson are sitting on the couch. F.P is walking in front of them. He asks again what happened out there. Daniel and Jackson glance at each other. Daniel says that someone attacked them. Jackson adds they were wearing a version of the Ghostface costume. F.P asks if they're okay. Jackson says they're fine. F.P hugs them. He tells them to go get some sleep. They walk upstairs. F.P looks suspiciously at the ground.
It's the next day. Daniel and Jackson are combing their hair. It's graduation day. They smile at each other. We cut to Betty and Veronica. They're brushing their hair. We then cut to Connor and Bridget. They're combing and brushing their hair. We then cut to Cheryl. She's putting on makeup. They each walk out of their houses and get in their cars.
We are at the police station. Luke and Jake are sitting side by side. Luke says that his daughter is graduating high school. Jake congratulates Luke and gives him a high five. Luke says that right now, before the graduation, they need to focus on solving a mystery. Who hired Parker Richards to kill Betty Cooper? Just then, Luke gets a phone call. He answers. It's New. He says that him and his partners were the ones who hired Parker to kill Betty, and that if they get involved, they'll kill them too.
The Riverdale Seven and Dakota arrive at the diner, where they are having lunch before their high school graduation. They walk inside the diner. They are smiling and laughing. They sit down at a booth. Daniel asks if anyone has talked to Ronnie. Connor says he texted him, but Ronnie said he'd make it to graduation. Daniel says Ronnie told him that too. Bridget says that she hopes Ronnie makes it. Dakota says he does too. Veronica says she can't imagine Ronnie missing their graduation. Betty says that Ronnie always is the center of attention, so he'll definitely be there.
We cut to the football field. Iris sees a giant curtain covering something. Iris asks a worker what it is. The worker says that someone came last night and returned the flagpole, even setting it up. Iris says that's nice. She says they'll pull down the curtain when the kids throw up their caps. The worker says that sounds like a good idea. He smiles. Iris says this will be an amazing graduation for the kids, considering they deserve it.
Sasha is walking around. We see that she is texting someone. She asks if they're almost there. The texter says they're there. Sasha asks where they are. The texter says that he's right behind her. She turns around. New is behind her. He stabs her in the shoulder. She screams and falls to the ground. She looks at him. She says she can help him kill anyone. New tilts his head. Sasha smiles. New shakes his head. He slices Sasha's throat. Sasha Richards is dead.
The Riverdale Seven and Dakota arrive at the football field. They sit down at the bleachers. We see Alex is watching them. Connor looks at Cheryl. He asks her how her senior year has been. She says that the only good thing about it, considering everyone she lost, was her fellow Riverdale Eight members, especially Connor. They kiss. Bridget looks at Dakota. Bridget says that ever since she met Dakota, her life has gotten even better. Dakota says the same can be said for him. They smile and kiss. Jackson and Betty look at each other. Jackson says that even though they have had a rough few days, they will stay together forever. She smiles and kisses him. Veronica and Daniel are looking at each other. Veronica tells him not to say anything. She kisses him.
Iris walks up to the podium. The teachers, including Sarah sit behind her. We see J.P, Luke, and Jake in the parent stands. Iris says that some of the high schoolers have had a hard time in their high school life. She looks at the Riverdale Seven. She says that now they can put all that behind them, and move on to their adult lives. She pulls the curtain around the flagpole down. However, a surprise happens. It's Ronnie's dead body impaled on the flagpole. The Riverdale Seven stare in shock at their dead friend. Smash to black.
Episode Four: Loss of a Friend[]
We open on the aftermath of the graduation. Ronnie's body is being pulled off the flagpole. The Riverdale Seven and Dakota are all sitting together. Daniel says he can't believe it's happening again. Jackson looks at him. He says that they will stop it. Betty says they will make sure no one else dies. They will stop Ripper and Nightmare. Jackson and Daniel look at each other, remembering their attacker from the previous night. Jackson whispers in Daniel's ear that he thinks Ripper and Nightmare have a new accomplice.
Luke and Jake walk up. They say they're really sorry about what happened, but if the kids have anything they want to say, say it. Daniel and Jackson tell the police about the attack from the previous night. Jake asks why they didn't come to the police. Jackson says they didn't think it was important. Luke says it was. Luke asks if they have any suspects. Betty says she has one. Sasha Richards. She's angry at Betty for what she did to her father, and their fight, so now Sasha is getting revenge by killing Betty's friends.
Daniel is sitting with his friends. He sees Alex watching them. He says he'll be right back. He walks over to Alex. He asks her what she wants. She says she doesn't want anything, and that she's sorry about Ronnie. Daniel thanks her. Alex says that someone is finishing Kimberly and Gerald's job by killing the Riverdale Eight. Alex asks Daniel who he thinks it is. Daniel says he doesn't know, but he is going to find out. Daniel walks off. Alex watches him, and has a small smirk.
F.P runs up to the teens. He hugs Daniel and Jackson. He asks if they're okay. They say they are. F.P says he can't imagine what's going through their heads. Daniel says that all that's going through his head is revenge. F.P says Daniel shouldn't get involved, because if he does, more people will get hurt. Daniel says that the last person who told him not to get involved in the murders ended up trying to kill him. Jackson says that they are all going to work together and find the killers.
Iris is looking at the flagpole. Luke and Jake walk up. Luke asks what she is thinking. Iris says she can't believe the Riverdale murders are happening again. She says that the town was almost destroyed last time, and she doesn't know if it can survive that again. Jake says they'll stop the killer. Iris says that they better, because if they don't, this could be the end of Riverdale. Iris walks off. Luke and Jake look at each other worriedly.
The teens are standing together, about to leave the football field. Sarah runs up. She hugs the kids. She says she's so sorry about Ronnie. Veronica thanks her. Sarah says that if they ever need to talk, to come to her. Connor says that right now, they only need each other. Bridget looks at him. She smiles. Bridget says that they'll tell her if they need to talk. The teens walk off.
We are at Jackson's house. The teens are sitting together. Veronica looks at her friends. She says that they will find out who killed Ronnie, and then they will kill him. Dakota says that even though he's not part of the Riverdale Seven, he'll help as much as possible. Bridget says she can't let him become a target. Dakota says he'll risk it, as long as he can keep her safe. Bridget smiles. They kiss. Cheryl says that they'll just have to be ready for anything.
Jackson walks into his room. He opens his computer. He sits down and opens up the file, "The Riverdale Murders". He begins typing as the voiceover begins. He says that ever since Kimberly and Gerald were killed, everyone had hoped the murders were over. However, Jackson has always secretly expected another killing spree, seeing as Ripper and Nightmare were never revealed. Now, the murders have started again, with Ripper and Nightmare continuing their job, now with a new accomplice.
We cut to the old abandoned high school. Sasha's body is laying on the ground. Ripper, Nightmare, and New walk in. New says he killed Sasha. Nightmare says he did a good job. Ripper looks at the body. He says that now, with one Riverdale Eight member dead, and a red herring they can use, the murders are set. The three killers look at each other. It's time for the next part of the Riverdale murders. Smash to black.
Episode Five: Slashers and Suspects[]
We open on Luke and Jake. They are outside Sasha's house. Luke says that if there is any evidence in there, they could have their first suspect in the murder of Ronnie Raymond. The cops knock on the door. There is no answer. Jake twists the doorknob, and realizes it's unlocked. The cops open the door, and walk into the house. Luke yells out Sasha's name, but no one answers. They walk upstairs. They walk into Sasha's room. They find a knife on her dresser. They open her closet. The New Ghostface costume is inside.
Luke and Jake are talking to Daniel and Jackson. Luke says that they visited the home of Sasha Richards following some suspicions, and found some interesting evidence. They pull out the New costume, now in an evidence bag. Daniel says that the man that attacked them a few days earlier wore that suit. Jake and Luke look at each other. Jake says that they now have an identity for a killer. Luke pulls out his walkie talkie. He tells his cops to put out an arrest warrant for Sasha Richards.
The Riverdale Seven and Dakota are sitting together. Jackson tells the group that the police believe that Sasha is the new killer working with Ripper and Nightmare. Betty asks what evidence they have. Daniel says they found a knife, along with the same costume that the person that attacked Daniel and Jackson wore, in her room. Veronica says that now they have one killer identity, they just have to find Ripper and Nightmare. Cheryl says that they can do it. Connor says that they may get some battle damage, but they can do it.
Luke and Jake are in Iris's office. Iris asks what they need to talk about. Jake says they found out one of the killers' identity. Iris asks who it is. Luke says it's Sasha Richards. He explains the evidence they found. Iris says that sounds like a lock. She says she'll have a conference that day to reveal Sasha's identity. Luke says that sounds good. Iris thanks the cops. They walk out.
We cut to the press conference. Iris walks up to the podium. All the main characters are in the stands. Iris says that recently, the town experienced an unimaginable loss with the murder of Ronnie Raymond. She says that the police have searched for evidence, and have officially identified a killer. Luke walks up to the podium. He says that following some suspicions, they searched the home of Sasha Richards. There, they found a knife and costume resembling the same costume worn by the figure that attacked Daniel Ridgemont and Jackson Jones. Luke says that based off this evidence, they are sure that Sasha Richards is the new killer.
We are at the abandoned high school. All three killers are standing inside. Ripper thanks Nightmare for coming up with the idea to plant evidence in Sasha's room. Nightmare says it was a good idea. New says that now, everyone thinks Sasha has to be the new killer. Ripper says it's all coming to plan. We cut to Sasha. Her body lays lifeless on the ground, reminding us that she is in fact dead. Ripper and Nightmare say they're off to take care of their next victim.
Iris is in her house. She is sitting in her bedroom. We cut to downstairs. There is a bunch of staff working. We then cut to outside. Ripper and Nightmare lurk around. They smack the kitchen window. There is a chef working inside. He opens the window. Ripper pulls him through. He decapitates him with a hatchet. Ripper and Nightmare climb into the window. They sneak out of the kitchen.
The two killers see a maid. Ripper tells Nightmare to take care of it. Nightmare sneaks up on the maid, and stabs her in the back of her neck. She falls to the ground. Ripper sees the mayor's assistant. He stabs him in the stomach with the hatchet, killing him. The two continue lurking. They see a guard. Ripper runs up to him, and sticks the hatchet through the guard's head, killing him. Ripper then looks at Nightmare. He tells Nightmare to take the mayor. Nightmare nods.
Iris is sitting on her bed. Just then, there is a knock on her bedroom door. She asks who it is. Just then, Nightmare walks in. Iris screams. Nightmare grabs her. She kicks him in the stomach. He lets go of her. She tries to run off, but Nightmare grabs her neck and throws her against the wall. He pulls out a knife. He says that its time for the next wave of the Riverdale murders. He stabs Iris in the stomach. He slices it more and more, eventually slicing it completely open. Iris Sanders, mayor of Riverdale, is dead. Smash to black.
Episode Six: Lovers and Attackers[]
We start outside Iris's house. Her body, along with her workers, are being wheeled away in body bags. Luke and Jake stand outside the house. Jake says that they have another murder spree on their hands. Luke asks if there has been any sign of Sasha. Jake says no one can find her. Luke says they need to find her, before her and her partners hurt anyone else. Jake nods.
Daniel and Veronica are sitting together. Daniel says that he can't believe the mayor is dead. Veronica says that it's all happening again. Daniel says they need to stop it before anyone else is hurt. Veronica agrees, but asks what they can do. Daniel says they can fight back. They can stop sitting here and letting more innocent people get murdered. They can find this guy, and rip his mask off. Veronica says that they will.
Daniel is on a walk. He sees Alex. He runs up to her. She asks what he needs to talk about. Daniel asks if Alex has any killer theories, besides Sasha. Alex looks at him. She tells Daniel that even though no one wants to think it, sometimes the people closest to you are the ones who keep the biggest secrets. Daniel asks her what this means. Alex says that the killer could be someone Daniel really trusts, including one of his fellow Riverdale Eight survivors. Alex walks away. Daniel watches her.
Betty is walking home from school. Just then, she gets a text. It's from Jackson. It says for her to go to this place. Betty smiles. She asks if this is some romantic gesture. Jackson says it's something like that. Betty puts the location into her GPS, and begins walking. We see that someone is watching her. They run away as she heads towards the mystery location.
Sarah is at her school office. There is a knock on her office door. She opens it. It's Connor. She asks him what he needs. Connor says that he has lost one of his closest friends from his childhood, and that he is trying to stay strong for Bridget and Cheryl, but he just can't keep doing it. He says that he was so happy when he and his sister survived the killing spree that took his parents, and also survived with his new girlfriend, but now it's happening again, and he doesn't know if he can survive it again. Sarah says that Connor is a fighter. A survivor. As long as he works hard, and stays strong, he can keep himself safe. He thanks his guidance counselor, and walks away. Sarah watches him suspiciously.
Bridget is sitting with Dakota. She takes his hand. She says that in the first killing spree, she lost people she cared about, like her parents, and one of her longtime best friends. She says that she's worried about losing him too. Dakota says that Bridget has nothing to worry about, because Dakota can fight back, just like Bridget. Bridget smiles. She says that he always makes her feel better. Dakota says that is his job. They kiss. It begins to evolve. Dakota takes off his shirt, and then Bridget's. They then take off their pants, leaving them in their underwear. Bridget says that she loves Dakota. He tells her he loves her too. The two have sex.
Betty arrives at the mystery location. She is at an old warehouse. She calls for Jackson. There is no response. Just then, she gets a phone call. It's Jackson. She answers. Nightmare begins talking. He says that Betty has lost many people she loves, and if she doesn't hurry, she'll lose someone else. Betty calls him a bastard. Nightmare says that doesn't matter right now. What matters is that she try and hurry to save her boyfriend.
Betty hangs up on Nightmare, and runs into the warehouse. She sees Jackson. He tied in a chair. She unties him. Just then, Nightmare jumps out. Betty and Jackson go to run out, but Nightmare grabs Betty. He throws her to the ground. He pulls out his knife and gets ready to stab her. Jackson kicks Nightmare in the side. Nightmare falls off of Betty, and Jackson helps Betty up. Nightmare gets up. He goes to stab Jackson, but Jackson dodges it, tripping Nightmare. Jackson and Betty run out of the warehouse, and call 911.
The police are outside the warehouse. Luke and Jake are talking to Jackson and Betty. Luke asks what they were doing at the warehouse. Jackson explains that he was walking when someone came up behind him and knocked him out. He woke up in the warehouse. Betty says that the killer texted her pretending to be Jackson, and told her to meet him at the warehouse. F.P pulls up. He grabs Jackson, and hugs him. He asks Jackson if he's okay. Jackson says he's fine. F.P says they are leaving. Betty watched as they walk away. Smash to black.
Episode Seven: Hunt to Save a Friend[]
We start with Bridget and Dakota. Bridget stands up after her and Dakota had sex. She says she's going to get a drink. Dakota tells her he loves her. She says she loves him too. She walks into her kitchen. Just then, her phone rings. She answers. It's New. He says that he's in her house. Bridget drops her phone. She runs into the living room where Dakota was. He's gone. Just then, he comes out behind her. He was stabbed in the arm. He tells her to run. Just then, Nightmare jumps out. He stabs Dakota in the shoulder. Nightmare grabs Bridget. He knocks her out.
Connor is walking home. Just then, his phone rings. He answers. It's New. He tells Connor they're gonna have fun. Connor asks who this is. New says that Connor will find out, but first, he may want to get to his sister. Connor hangs up. He begins running to his house. He runs into the house. He calls out his sister's name. No one answers. He calls New back. He asks where Bridget is. New says that Connor will find out. Just then, New jumps out behind Connor and knocks him out.
Connor wakes up. He's in a room. He sees Bridget. He tells her to wake up. She does. He asks her what happened. She says the killer stabbed Dakota. She doesn't know if he's okay. Connor says they'll get out. He promises her. Just then, New walks in. Connor asks him why he's doing this. New says that he's gonna prove himself to his bosses. He pulls out his phone. He says this is for Bridget. He turns on a video. It's Dakota. He is tied up. He calls out for Bridget to fight back, and that it doesn't matter if he lives, as long as she does. New puts up the phone. New then sets up a camera. He says this will be fun.
Daniel is sleeping. Just then, his phone rings. He answers it. It's New. New asks Daniel if he had any fun lately, because New has. Daniel asks New what he did. New sends Daniel a live feed. It's Bridget and Connor. Daniel tells New to not hurt them. New says that him and Daniel can go on an adventure to find out where they are, and save them. Daniel hangs up. He runs into Jackson's room. He wakes Jackson up. Jackson asks what he wants. Daniel shows Jackson the video. Jackson sits up. He looks at Daniel, shocked.
Daniel and Jackson are sitting in Jackson's room. Jackson says they need to find out where Bridget and Connor are, before it's too late. Daniel says they need some clues to find out where they are. Daniel asks where they could find some clues. Jackson says there may be some clues at Bridget and Connor's house. Daniel says that's a good idea. They run downstairs. F.P sees them. He asks them where they're going. Jackson says they are going to hang out with friends. F.P, believing them, tells them to have fun. The two teens run out.
We cut back to Connor and Bridget. They're still tied up. Bridget is crying. Connor tells her she doesn't have to cry, and that he'll make sure she gets out of here safe. New walks back in. New says they can cut the super hopeful bullshit. Connor says that New will let them out. New tells Connor that he can wish, but that won't happen. He stabs Connor in the side. Connor yells out in pain. Bridget begs New to stop. New looks at her. He walks over to Bridget and drags the bloody knife across Bridget's face, leaving Connor's blood on her cheek. New says that this will be the best game yet.
Daniel and Jackson arrive at the Simpson home. They open the door. They can't find anything. They continue searching through the home. Daniel says there has to be a clue in the house. Jackson says the killer is going to give them something. Just then, they find a small puddle of blood. There is a note on the ground in the middle of it. It reads, "Go to the place where you too were betrayed by the coach." Jackson says it must be Gerald's house. The two run out.
Daniel and Jackson arrive at Gerald's house. Daniel, seeing the house, has a flashback. We cut to him, Jackson, and a cop entering Gerald's house. Gerald jumps out, injured. He kills the cop, and knocks out Daniel and Jackson. Daniel opens his eyes. Jackson grabs Daniel's shoulder. He says it's okay. Daniel and Jackson walk around the outside of the house. Jackson finds a note attached to a window. It reads, "To find your friends, go to the place where many adults met their end." Daniel concludes this is the old high school. Jackson pulls out his phone. He sees the live feed of Connor and Bridget. Jackson says they need to hurry.
Daniel and Jackson arrive at the old high school. The doors are locked. Jackson continues watching the live feed. New says that if Daniel and Jackson don't hurry, the Riverdale Eight is losing more members. Jackson says they need to get the door unlocked. Daniel grabs a log. He beats on the lock. Jackson tells him to hurry. Daniel beats down the lock. Daniel and Jackson open the door. Bridget lays stabbed, while Connor is crying. Jackson looks at the phone. We watch as New stabs Bridget ten times, revealing the stream was delayed. Bridget Simpson, Connor's sister, and Riverdale Eight member, is dead.
Bridget's body is being wheeled away in a body bag. Luke and Jake stand side by side. Luke says they need to find Sasha, before she hurts anyone else. Jack nods. Connor stands by himself. Daniel and Jackson walk up to him. They put their arms around him. We see Dakota being taken out of the school, injured. F.P drives up. He hugs Daniel and Jackson. F.P tells the three that he is so sorry about Bridget. They thank him. F.P tells Daniel and Jackson that they're coming home immediately. He pulls them away, leaving Connor by himself. He closes his eyes, and begins crying. He asks Bridget why she had to go. Smash to black.
Episode Eight: Search Party[]
We open on the three killers. They are standing in the woods. Ripper and Nightmare look at New. Ripper says that New had no authority doing what he did. Nightmare says he had no permission to go and murder Bridget, and that he should've asked first. New apologizes, but says that he doesn't regret it, because he took out a Riverdale Eight member on his own. He says that he is the new and improved Ghostface, and that soon, he'll prove it even more.
We cut to the next morning. The now Riverdale Six, and Dakota, are mourning Bridget's death. Connor says that he deserved to die, not Bridget. Cheryl says no one should've died, and hugs Connor. Conner says that it doesn't seem real. Betty says that first they lost Ronnie, and now Bridget. Veronica says they need to find Sasha, as she must be New Ghostface. Daniel and Jackson stand up. Jackson says that they will avenge Bridget. Daniel says they will make sure of it.
Sheriff Luke and Deputy Jake are in the police station. They have a table covered in papers, and pictures connecting the victims. They add a new picture. Bridget Simpson. We see that Sasha is the prime suspect section. Luke says that the killer that murdered Bridget was confirmed to be New. Jake says that means Sasha killed Bridget, and kidnapped Dakota and Connor. Alex walks in. She sees the murder table. She asks her dad what it is about. He says it's police business. She asks for the car keys. He goes to get them out of his desk. Alex takes a picture of the murder table. Luke gives her the car keys. She says bye to her dad, and walks away.
Sarah is sitting in her office. Betty walks in. She asks Sarah if they can talk. Sarah tells her to sit down. Betty says that she and her friends have lost so much in their lives. Family and friends. Betty says that she's worried she'll lose everyone. Sarah says that Betty is not only afraid of losing, she's afraid of trusting. Betty asks why. Sarah says that Gerald and Kimberly were people Betty trusted, and they turned on her. She says that Betty is worried that someone she trusts, maybe even another Riverdale Eight member, will turn on her. Betty says that may be true. She thanks Sarah and walks out.
Daniel is going on a walk. Just then, Alex runs up to him. She says she's sorry about what happened to Bridget. Daniel thanks her. She pulls out her phone. She says there is something she needs to show him. She shows him the picture of the murder table. She says that this is a picture of all the evidence for the new murders that the police have. Daniel looks at it. He thanks Alex, and walks away. Alex watches him, and begins smiling.
We are at the police station. Luke and Jake are staring at the murder table. Jake says they still don't have enough for a guess on Ripper and Nightmare. Luke says they just need a little more evidence. Luke has an idea. He calls two cops into his office. He tells them that they need some more evidence to find a suspect to the killers. Luke says he wants them to find some at the old abandoned high school. The cops nod, and walk away.
We cut to the old high school. The two cops arrive. The younger cop says that this is not how he imagined spending his afternoon. The older cop says that if it was, he'd be worried. The cops walk into the high school. We see a figure watching them. They look around, unable to find anything. Just then, they find a table. They walk up to the table. There is a note. It reads, "Look behind you." The cops turn around. New is there. He stabs one cop in the throat. He takes the other and bashes his head into the table. Both cops are dead. New walks up to a room. There is a tied up man in it. New tells the man that he's gonna have some fun.
Veronica, Jackson, and Connor are hanging out in Jackson's house. Just then, Daniel runs up. He says they need to talk. Veronica asks him what he needs. Daniel says that they can't just sit here and wait for more deaths on the body count. He says that they haven't really worked against the killers yet, and that needs to change. He says they should go to the old high school and look for evidence. Connor agrees. He says that he needs to stop the killers after what happened to Bridget. Jackson says that if they find Sasha, she can tell them who her partners are. Veronica says they need to hurry. The four leave the house.
Daniel, Jackson, Veronica, and Connor arrive at the high school. Veronica says they need to be careful. Connor says that since Sasha is New, and killed Bridget, he wants to be the one that takes care of her. Jackson says they shouldn't kill them. Instead, they should find some answers. Daniel agrees, and says that killing will be the last resort. The four friends walk into the high school, ready for anything. As soon as they walk in, they see the two cops that were killed. Connor says that it looks like they don't like it when others look for evidence.
There is a note saying, "This is what happens when you don't mind your own business." Daniel says to ignore it. He grabs one of the cop's gun. Veronica says for her friends to watch out. Jackson says they will. The four survivors continue walking. We see New watching them. He turns around and looks at the kidnapped man, now in a long cloak. The man looks at him with terror. New says that this is gonna be fun. The four survivors continue walking through the high school. They begin to smell something. They see something covered up by a blanket. Connor uncovers the blanket. It's Sasha's dead body.
The group look at her body with disgust. Jackson says that Sasha looks like she's been dead for at the most a week. Veronica says that means Sasha isn't New. Connor says that the killers must've been using her as a red herring. Just then, New runs at them. Daniel shoots him in the heart. New falls to the ground. The four survivors walk up to New. He's dead. Daniel rips off his mask. It's the man New kidnapped. Daniel says that he doesn't even know this guy. Jackson says it must be a decoy. Just then, the real New jumps out. He grabs Daniel's hand, and smashes it against the wall, causing him to drop the gun. New kicks the gun away. He goes to stab Daniel when Connor grabs him. Connor yells that New killed his sister. He hits New in the face. New goes to stab Connor, but he dodges. Connor grabs New's mask. He rips it off.
New Ghostface is Dakota Gregg. Connor and the other survivors look at Dakota in shock. Dakota kicks Connor off of him. Dakota says he'll take care of them eventually. Dakota runs off. We cut to later. Luke and Jake are standing side by side. Luke says that even though they know Sasha isn't New anymore, at least they now know who New actually is. We cut to Daniel, Jackson, Veronica, and Connor. Daniel says he can't believe Dakota did this. Just then, F.P pulls up. He runs up to the four survivors and hugs them. He asks if they're okay. They say they are. He says the police will find Dakota.
We cut to the woods. Dakota stands alone. Just then, he is ambushed by Ripper and Nightmare. They throw him to the ground. They are about to stab him. He tells them to stop. He says that now, they don't have to keep giving him an alibi. He says they don't have to try and keep up attacks on him. He says that they have nothing to worry about, because he is the best Riverdale has to offer. Dakota smiles. Smash to black.
Episode Nine: Much Too Late[]
We open on Connor and Cheryl. They are in the woods, late at night. Cheryl says she can't believe Dakota is New. Connor says that he never imagined Dakota could've killed Bridget. Cheryl asks Connor why he didn't tell her about their investigation. Connor says he couldn't risk losing her. She smiles. She says she loves him. He says he loves her too. They kiss. Just then, Dakota jumps out. He grabs Connor, and stabs him in the side. Cheryl grabs a rock and hits Dakota with it. Dakota lets go of Connor. Cheryl takes Connor, and helps him run off.
Connor is being treated for his stab wound. His fellow Riverdale Six surround him. Luke and Jake walk up. Jake asks Connor what exactly happened. Connor says that him and Cheryl were off on a date in the woods when Dakota stabbed him. Luke asks if there was anyone else there. Connor says it was just him, Cheryl, and Dakota. Luke and Jake nod. They thank Connor for his answers, and walk away. Jake says they need a suspect for Ripper or Nightmare to go along with Dakota. Luke says that soon they will have one.
The Riverdale Six walk into Daniel and Jackson's house. F.P sees them. He asks Connor if he's okay. Connor says he's ok. F.P smiles with relief. He tells Daniel and Jackson he's going to bed. They tell him goodnight. F.P walks upstairs to his bedroom. He shuts the door. He opens a drawer. He pulls out a newspaper clipping. It is about Kimberly and Gerald's reveals and deaths. He points at a picture of Kimberly. He looks angrily at the picture. He rips the newspaper clipping, and throws it to the ground.
We cut to the next morning. Sarah is in her office. Just then, her phone rings. She answers. It's Ripper. He asks her if she has any private sessions today. Sarah says she has one coming up almost immediately. Ripper chuckles. He asks her if she's sure. She says she is. He tells her to open Locker #113. Sarah hangs up, and walks out of the room. She looks through the hallway. She eventually finds Locker #113. She sees it is unlocked. She opens it. There is a dead body inside. She recognizes it as the student she was supposed to have a session with. He is gutted.
She hears something behind her. She turns around. Ripper is behind her, holding a hatchet. He goes to stab her, but she dodges. She kicks Ripper in the stomach, causing him to stop moving. She kicks him in the face, causing him to tumble backwards into a locker. She begins running. Ripper slowly gets up, and begins chasing her. Sarah runs into her office. She closes and locks the door. She backs away from it. There is complete silence. She looks around through the glass window on the door, and sees nothing. She reopens the door. Just then, Ripper jumps out. He begins cutting Sarah into pieces. Sarah Walker, guidance counselor, is dead.
Daniel is at home. Just then, he hears a knock on the door. He walks to the front door, and opens it. It's Alex. He tells her to come in. The two sit on the couch. He asks her what she's doing there. Alex says that she was sitting in her room, pondering a question, when she decided to come to Daniel and ask him if he had an answer. Daniel asks what the question is. Alex asks Daniel who he thinks is Ripper or Nightmare. Daniel says that they are doing a good job keeping their identities secret, so he really doesn't know. Alex says that she thinks the killer may be F.P. Daniel says there is no way F.P could be a murderer. Alex says that Daniel of all people should not trust anyone. Alex says that the killer may even be one of the Riverdale Six.
Betty is sitting with Jackson. She asks him why he didn't tell her about the investigation. Jackson says that he values her life more than his, and that if he can protect her, he will. Jackson says that if she is ever in danger, he will gladly jump in front of a knife and become the third Riverdale Eight death. Betty says she can protect herself, because she is a true heroine. Jackson smiles. Betty smiles too. The two kiss. It becomes more. Jackson and Betty pull off their clothes. They lay down, and have sex.
We cut to them after sex. Betty's phone rings. She answers. It's Ripper. He asks Betty if she needs any help from a counselor. Betty asks why. Ripper says she should go to the school and find out. Betty hangs up. She tells Jackson they need to go to the school. We cut to a bit later. The two arrive at the school. They walk inside. They find Sarah's cut up body in front of them.
The bodies of Sarah and the student are being taken away in body bags. Luke and Jake are talking. Jake says that the student was found outside an open Locker #113. Luke asks who Locker #113 belongs to. Jake says it's the former locker of Ronnie Raymond. Luke kicks a tree. He says that they aren't getting anywhere, and just keep losing person after person, as the body count continues piling up. Jake says that they'll have a suspect soon, and then this will all be over. Luke says that he will find this killer.
We cut to the abandoned high school. Nightmare and Dakota are inside. Ripper walks in. He says that today was fun, as he added two victims to the body count. Nightmare says everything is going as planned. Dakota says that this will be an amazing game. Ripper says that the closer they get to the end, the more chaotic everything will become. Smash to black.
Episode Ten: Loss of Words[]
We open on Nightmare. He is outside the police station. Ripper walks up. He says hello to Nightmare. Nightmare nods. Ripper looks into the police station. He says his insider is coming out. Just then, a cop walks out. He hands Ripper keys. He says they are for the private files. Ripper thanks the cop for his cooperation. Ripper slices the cop’s throat.
The cop falls to the ground. Ripper tells Nightmare they need to be quiet. Nightmare nods. He sneaks inside, as Ripper waits outside. Nightmare sneaks through the entire police station, almost getting caught multiple times, but getting away anyways. Finally, Nightmare makes it to the file room. There are two cops standing inside. Nightmare grabs them, stabbing one in the head and the other in the throat. He runs to the Riverdale murder files. He pulls them out, and runs out.
Luke and Jake are inside the evidence room. The bodies of the two cops are being wheeled away in body bags. Luke stares at the ground. He kicks the wall. He says that they stole every single file available on the Riverdale murders. Jake says that it’s okay, and that right now, they need to stay calm and try to find the killers.
Daniel is asleep. Just then, there is a drop of something that hits his face. He wakes up. Written in blood on his ceiling is, “You can’t win.” Daniel stares at the writing in shock. Just then, his phone rings. Daniel answers. It's Ripper. Ripper asks Daniel if he got the message. Daniel tells Ripper that he’s wrong, and that in the end, he will kill Ripper. Ripper says that the more Daniel and his friends try to fight back, the harder Ripper will work to make it all pointless. Daniel hangs up.
The Riverdale Six are sitting together. Daniel is explaining what Ripper said. Jackson says that things are heating up now, more than ever. Betty says that they will have to work even harder. Veronica says that the harder they work, the harder the killers work. Connor says that they will win in the end. Cheryl says that no one may win.
Daniel and Veronica are sitting together. Daniel looks at her. He asks her if she has a killer theory. Veronica admits that she thinks Alex could be involved. Daniel asks why. Veronica says that Alex has a weird obsession with the Riverdale Eight. Daniel says that Alex gave him evidence to find the killer. Veronica says that the police also happened to lose all their evidence.
Just then, there is a loud noise outside. Daniel and Veronica both look at the window. Just then, there is a hit against it. Daniel stands up. Veronica tells him to be careful. Daniel nods. He walks toward the window. Just then, Nightmare jumps through the window. He tackles Daniel. Veronica screams. She runs at them and kicks Nightmare. He gets off of Daniel. Daniel and Veronica run out of the house. They get into Daniel’s car, and drive off.
Daniel and Veronica are in the police station. Just then, the rest of the Riverdale Six walk in. Jackson hugs Daniel. Luke and Jake walk in. Luke asks Daniel and Veronica what happened. Daniel says that him and Veronica were together at his house when Nightmare attacked them. Jackson asks if F.P was there. Veronica says he wasn't. Luke and Jake look at each other.
F.P is sitting in his house. Daniel and Jackson walk in. F.P hugs them. He asks Daniel if he's ok. Daniel says that he wasn't injured. Daniel walks upstairs. Jackson asks F.P why he wasn't at the house. F.P says that he went on a walk. Jackson looks at F.P. He asks if F.P was really just walking, or if F.P is Nightmare. Jackson walks away.
Alex is walking around. She arrives at her car. She looks around suspiciously. She then opens her car door. We see the files stolen from the police station. Just then, Dakota sneaks up on Alex. He hits her over the head with a bat. Alex is knocked unconscious. Dakota pushes her into the car, and also gets in. He then begins driving. Smash to black.
Episode Eleven: The Road Ahead[]
Alex wakes up unconscious in the old high school. Ripper, Nightmare, and Dakota stand in front of her. Alex asks why they kidnapped her. Ripper says they are going to have some fun with her. Ripper looks at Dakota. He asks Dakota if he made sure to put the files in her car. Dakota nods. Ripper then knocks Alex out.
Daniel and Veronica are hanging out in Daniel's room. Veronica asks Daniel if he's ok. Daniel says that he's just thinking about the murders. Veronica takes his hand. She says he needs to try and stay calm. She says she knows how to take his mind off the murders. She kisses Daniel. They fall onto the bed, and have sex.
F.P is sitting in his bedroom. Just then, his phone rings. F.P answers. It's Ripper. He says that F.P can't escape his secrets. F.P tells Ripper that he's not doing “it”. Ripper says that he won't yet, but it will happen eventually. Ripper hangs up. F.P throws the phone on the bed.
F.P then hears a knock on his door. F.P walks downstairs. Luke and Jake are standing. F.P asks them why they are there. Luke says that they have some suspicions about F.P being involved in the murders. He seems shocked. F.P says he could never hurt anyone. Jake says that it's not official yet, but if they find anymore evidence, F.P will be arrested.
Jackson and Betty are on a walk. Jackson looks at her. He notices something wrong. He asks if she's okay. She says she's worried about losing Jackson. Jackson says that she doesn't need to be worried, because he could hold his own. Betty smiles. She kisses him. She walks ahead. Jackson suspiciously watches her.
The Riverdale Six are sitting together. They are talking, but Daniel is sitting in silence. He begins thinking about the recent murders and how they have become much more active. He then has an idea. He interrupts his friends. He says that the murders have been much more active, much like late in the end of the first killing spree. Jackson understands what Daniel is saying. He stands up. He says that this may be because the new murders are about to end.
Connor says it all makes sense, considering two survivors are dead, and they already know one killer's identity. Cheryl says that if this is true, then that means even more people will die soon. Jackson says that they need to find out who's next on the chopping block. Daniel looks at the ground in silence.
Jake is sitting in the police station. Just then, his phone rings. He answers. It's Ripper. Ripper says that he wants Jake to come to the abandoned high school, alone. Jake asks why. Ripper says that if he doesn't, than the sheriff loses his beloved daughter. Jake hangs up. He walks out of the police station.
Jake arrives at the abandoned high school. He runs in. He pulls out his gun. He finds Alex, tied up in a chair. She tells him to watch out. He turns around. Ripper stands there. He kicks the gun out of Jake’s hand. Ripper pulls out a buzzsaw, and completely guts Jake. Jake drops to the ground. Alex screams in terror.
Luke walks into the police station following his break. A cop walks up to him. The cop says that there were anonymous reports of suspicious activity in the abandoned high school. Luke says they should check it out. Him and five other cops leave to check it out.
Ripper grabs Alex. He unites her and drags her towards Jake's body. He takes the buzzsaw and places it in her hands. Ripper runs away. Just then, Luke and his cops walk into the high school. They see Alex. It does not look good. Luke stares in shock at her. He tells his men to arrest her. Alex is taken away.
We cut through an ending montage. Alex is being driven away in a cop car with two cops up front. Alex looks out the window. She sees Dakota watching her. She closes her eyes. We cut to Daniel. He gets a phone call. He answers. It's Ripper. Ripper says that Daniel needs to get ready, because this game is almost over, and when the mask comes off, Daniel will never trust again. Daniel hangs up. He texts his friends that they need to come over immediately. Smash to black.
Episode Twelve: No Time Left[]
We open on Alex being driven by the two police officers. She has her eyes closed, due to having seen Dakota watching her at the end of last episode. She reopens her eyes. She tells the cops that she didn't kill Jake. The two cops ignore her completely, except for looking back at her. Just then, Dakota jumps out in front of the car. Alex tells them to watch out. The driving cop swerves and smashes into a tall metal pole. Dakota watches the car. He walks toward the car. He pulls out one cop and brutally stabs him in the back, stomach, and heart. He then takes the other cop and slits his wrists deeply, cutting his veins. Dakota walks to the backseat. He pulls Alex out. He says they are gonna have some fun.
The Riverdale Six are sitting in Daniel's house. Daniel explains the phone call he just received. Jackson says that this could confirm their theory: the second spree of the Riverdale murders are about to come to a close. Connor says that maybe Alex isn't one of the killers, and she was staged to look suspicious. Veronica says that it happened to Audrey and Emma in Scream Season 2, and it could be really happening now. Betty says that they need to be ready. Cheryl says that when that mask comes off, they probably won't like it.
It’s the next morning. Luke is standing over the car wreckage, as the two bodies are wheeled away. Luke tells one of his cops to come to him. The cop walks up. Luke asks if anyone has spotted Alex. The cop says there was no sign of her anywhere. Luke nods. The cops asks Luke if these murders will ever end. Luke says they’ll end soon. He’ll make sure of it. Luke walks away from the wreckage and leaves the area. The other officers watch him.
The Riverdale Six are together. Jackson asks them if they heard about Alex. Daniel says he hasn't. Jackson explains what happened with the two cops. Betty says that is insane. Veronica says that this is just like what happened in Scream Season 2. Connor says that it happened at the end of that second season, so it may be happening at the end of this one too. Cheryl says that they need to find Alex and make sure if she is innocent or not.
Luke is in his office. F.P walks in. Luke asks F.P what he is doing there. F.P says that he was thinking deeply about the murders, and thinks that Alex may be innocent. Luke says that she was found next to Jake’s dead body. Her DNA was on the murder weapon. The stolen files were in her car. Luke says that no matter how much he doesn't want to admit it, Alex is one of the killers. F.P says that the killers may be throwing this out there to give a false suspect, like they did with Sasha. F.P says that Alex may just be another pawn in the Ghostface killers’ mysterious game.
Daniel is at his house. Just then, his phone rings. Daniel answers. It's Ripper. Daniel asks him what he wants. Ripper says he wants this game to end just as much as Daniel does, just so he can see Daniel’s face when the mask comes off. Daniel says that if Ripper wants the game to end, why doesn't he just end it already. Ripper says he likes to play with his food before he eats it. Ripper says that he is about to end it anyways. Ripper tells Daniel to get all the Riverdale Six over to the movie theater, or else one of them dies right now. Daniel says he will do as Ripper says, and hangs up.
Daniel calls Jackson. Jackson asks what’s up. Daniel explains what Ripper told him. Jackson asks what they should do. Daniel says they need to listen, because if they don't, more people will die. Jackson says they need to be ready. Daniel asks him what he has in mind. Jackson says he’ll bring some weapons. Daniel says that this is the end. Jackson nods. He tells Daniel to be careful. Jackson says they are brothers. Daniel says their bond lasts to the end. Daniel hangs up.
The Riverdale Six arrive at the theater. They all run inside. Jackson walks in front of them. He hands them all weapons. He gives Daniel a hatchet, Betty an axe, Veronica a hammer, Connor a hook, and Cheryl a bat. The scene is similar to the theater scene from the Season 2 finale of Scream. Daniel asks what Jackson will use. He pulls out a bag full of throwing knives. Daniel walks in front of the Riverdale Six. He says they don't have to stay as he is the main target. The other survivors look at each other. Connor says they're together. Forever. Daniel nods.
Betty and Veronica are guarding the front of the theater. Betty asks Veronica if she has a killer theory. Veronica says that she honestly finds F.P suspicious. Betty says she sorta does too, but she's dating his son, so it would be kinda awkward to accuse him of murder. Just then, F.P runs up. Betty asks him what he is doing there. He says that Jackson texted him and told him to come. Just then, Daniel and Jackson run up. F.P tells Jackson to let him in, and shows the text. Jackson says he didn't send the text, so he won't let F.P in. F.P angrily walks away. Jackson and Daniel kiss Betty and Veronica, and walk away.
Connor and Cheryl are exploring the theater. Cheryl takes Connor’s hand. She says that they will find the killers. Connor says that he will kill Dakota after what he did to Bridget. Cheryl tells him not to do anything he will regret. Connor says that he won't regret anything he does to Dakota, as long as he kills him. Cheryl looks into Connor’s eyes. They kiss. Connor says he'll make sure Cheryl doesn't suffer the same fate his sister suffered.
Daniel and Jackson are walking through the theater. Jackson says he can't believe they're dealing with another big finale to a murder spree. Daniel says that betrayals and murders never seem to stop in Riverdale. Just then, they hear a noise behind them. Dakota jumps out. He goes to tackle Jackson, but Jackson moves just in time, causing Dakota to run into a wall. As he turns around, Daniel and Jackson throw knives into his hands, pinning them to the wall.
Dakota yells out in pain. Daniel and Jackson yell for their friends. The other Riverdale Six members run up. Connor sees Dakota. He looks at Daniel and Jackson. They tell him to come on. The three male survivors begin throwing knives at Dakota, hitting his legs and chest. Dakota is on the brink of death. Before the final knife is thrown, Dakota tells them to wait. He says that the final showdown happens at the cliff, and there, secrets will be revealed. Daniel nods and throws the final knife into Dakota's head. Dakota Gregg, ex-boyfriend of Bridget Simpson, and New Ghostface, is dead. Daniel looks at the Riverdale Six. He says it's time for the finale. The Riverdale Six begin walking out of the theater.
The Riverdale Six arrive at the cliff. Daniel looks at them. He says that no matter what happens, he cherished his time with them. The others all nod. They walk up the cliff. They see a hooded figure tied up in a chair. Daniel lifts their hood. It's Alex. He asks if she's okay. She says she is. Just then, a gun cocks. Daniel turns around.
Connor Simpson is Ripper Ghostface. He tells the girls, who are behind him, to get in front of him. They oblige. Connor pulls out his knife. Daniel asks Connor why he did what he did. Connor says that when he was 16, he found out his parents had a secret. The secret was Richard Wayne's murder. When he found out about this, Connor was disgusted. Then, he wondered, how did it feel to kill. Connor decided that if his parents could hide murder, so could he. Then, he was recruited by Gerald, along with Nightmare.
Daniel asks him how he could let his own sister die. Connor says that Bridget was supposed to live, but Dakota decided to kill her, and kidnap him to keep him out of the way. Connor says that he always planned to kill Dakota, and he still got the chance, with the help of Daniel and Jackson. Connor says that now, he will kill the Riverdale Six. Connor says that him and his partner will plan the sequel.
Daniel asks Connor what Dakota’s motive was. Connor chuckles. He says that Dakota was obsessed with the Riverdale Eight. He began stalking them. Connor caught him, due to his expertise in sneaking. Connor, who had been wanting a new accomplice, recruited Dakota as New. However, Dakota was very disobedient. He did things he wasn't supposed to, like killing Bridget. This is why Connor unmasked Dakota. As payback. Connor was going to betray Dakota soon, but, as already stated, he was able to do it with Daniel and Jackson.
Just then, Daniel lunges at Connor. He jumps at Connor’s back. Connor stabs Daniel in the shoulder. However, Daniel his the gun out of Connor’s hand, and kicks it off the cliff. Daniel hits Connor. Connor, disoriented, is kneed in the face by Veronica. He is then kicked in the face by Cheryl. Betty hits him with a rock. Jackson tackles him off the cliff. They fall into the ocean.
The other four survivors, as well as Alex, watch the ocean. Just then, Jackson and Connor shoot out of the water. The five teens run off the cliff down to the beach. Jackson and Connor lay on the shore. Daniel helps Jackson up, and together they pick Connor up. They carry him to a fire and drop him in. They allow him three seconds to burn, then throw him into the ocean. Daniel and Jackson hold Connor underwater. He trashes, before finally stopping his movement. Connor Simpson, survivor, and Ripper Ghostface, is dead. The now Riverdale Five as well as Alex walk off.
We cut to a week later. Jackson is doing his voiceover. He says that another year, another murder spree has passed. We cut through our six main survivors, the Riverdale Five and Alex hanging out and laughing. We cut to F.P hugging his son and Daniel. We then cut to Luke. He is hanging up a “In Memory of” section in the police station for fallen officers. He hangs up photos of all the murdered officers, including Jake. Jackson says that there is one missing piece. He says that they have lost Ripper, but there is still one more killer. Nightmare Ghostface. We then cut to the high school. Nightmare walks up to a wall. He hangs up three pictures. Above them, it reads, “Possible New Accomplices”. We don't see who's pictures are hung up. Jackson asks if soon, the murders may continue into one last tragedy. One where, maybe, Nightmare’s mask will finally come off. Smash to black.
