Troy James is the older brother of Brandon James in the television series, Scream. He took care of Brandon for most of his childhood, up until the latter was shot and supposedly killed after killing five students on the night of October 31, 1994. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
In I Know What You Did Last Summer, it was revealed that his family owned a house with a pig farm that they moved to because of the hate they received from the 1994 Lakewood Murders. After his parents moved out, Troy apparently stayed behind. As a result of feeling guilty and not willing to abandon the James family, Maggie would visit Troy even with a very young Emma with her. it explained why Emma had nightmares about the Farm when in reality, they repressed memories due to Piper's murder spree. It's learned by Eddie that Troy eventually moved away from the house, and into a retirement home as he was developing dementia and someone else presumably Kieran was occupying the house.
