
One of the two founding "Sunrise Sisters" (along with Mimi Patterson), Susan got her break when Don Gordon cast her in the very first Sunrise film. Her alluring looks and irresistible charm, particularly in the western hit Where Are You, Doc Holiday?, seduced audiences nationwide. She went on to a successful career in the studio system and was even nominated for an Oscar for her work in the 1983 Paramount tearjerker Goodbye, Sweetness.
