Samantha and Tara's apartment is an apartment located in New York City, that appears in Scream VI (2023 film). The apartment was home to Carpenter sisters, Tara Carpenter and Samantha Carpenter, as well as their friend, Quinn Bailey. On Sunday night, October 30th 2023, (see Continuity Errors), Quinn Bailey's boyfriend (Paul 2.0) and one of Sam and Tara's friends being their friend Mindy Meeks-Martin's girlfriend (Anika Kayoko) were both brutally murdered in the apartment by Ethan Landry, as part of the New York Murders. Quinn Bailey had also faked her death in the apartment, as a way to get off of the suspect list.

New York Murders (2023)[]
On the night of October 29th 2023, Sam had come home after being at her therapists. After coming inside, she began hearing strange noises and started thinking it was a possible threat. But it just turned out to be Quinn and her boyfriend. Quinn then comes out of her room asking if they were being too loud. Which Sam says not at all. Sam then asks if Quinn knows where Tara is, and Quinn responds with telling Sam that Tara went to an Omega Kappa Beta fraternity party with other students and partygoers.
Sam asks if Tara took her taser to the party, and Quinn responds saying "I can not speak to how heavily armed Tara is.." Sam then looks across the alley into the neighboring apartments window, where she sees her secret boyfriend and lover Danny Brackett. Quinn then says Sam should just talk to him already, and Sam responds with saying that them looking at each other is about all the romantic interaction she is ready for. Afterwards, Sam leaves to go to the fraternity party, and get Tara.
Later that night Sam and Tara return to the apartment with their friend group consisting of Sam, Tara, Mindy, Chad, Anika and Ethan. Tara goes to her room where Quinn comes in. They begin talking about about Sam being really protective of Tara, and how it reminds Quinn of how her father was when her brother died (unbeknownst to Tara, Quinn is talking about Richie Kirsch.) Quinn then leaves before Chad comes into Tara's room. With them talking to each other about what happened at the party, with Tara thanking Chad for not letting her go upstairs with Frankie. Tara and Chad then start giving each other glances and they are about to kiss before Quinn comes in the room to get her phone. Quinn then apologizes for "cock blocking" them, before Chad leaves the room, along with Quinn.
Sam had went down the stairwell of the apartment building and briefly made out with Danny who passed her by, and they briefly talked, but is then yelled at to come upstairs and look at the news by Chad. Everybody in the friend group as well as Danny Brackett, all look at the news station which is talking about Jason Carvey and Greg Bruckner being found murdered in their apartment, just a short while ago. Sam then tells Tara to pack her things saying they are leaving the city, but Tara contests this saying this has nothing to do with them, which Chad and Mindy somewhat contest. Sam is about to call Quinns father but is then called by Gale Weathers, which she declines the call. Sam then calls Detective Bailey, (Quinn's father). Asking about the murders, and if they should be alarmed. But Bailey says he was just about to call her as he needs Sam and Tara to go to the police station. Which, they leave the apartment to do so.
The night of October 30th, 2023, both the Carpenter sisters and Meeks-Martin twins, and Anika all return to the apartment. With Quinn and her boyfriend already being there. Sam, Tara, Mindy and Chad are talking about a nickname Chad made called "Core Four". But then Anika who is sitting on the couch tells them to come into the living room, where a news station is saying that the prime suspect in the murders is Sam. Sam then turns off the TV before sitting down at the table where the rest of the group follow. Where they all begin talking and joking around, before Sam admits she had been seeing Danny. Across the alley, Danny glances over at Sam and Tara's apartment. And he spots somebody in a Ghostface costume standing behind Quinn in her bedroom. Quinn is on the phone with who appears to be her father, before proceeding to then call out to her boyfriend after he asks if she wanted to join him in the shower. Afterward, Ghostface goes into the bathroom where her boyfriend is.
Danny tries calling Sam to alert her, but the Tara takes her phone and pretends to talk to Danny while joking around, and whole group is joking about it. Sam then takes her phone saying she will call him back. They start hearing moaning sounds from Quinn's room, thinking it is her and her boyfriend. Danny then takes a photo of Quinn being stabbed by Ghostface and sends it to all their phones. After seeing this, Quinn's moans don't seem like pleasure before she starts to scream. The room then goes silent before Quinn's bedroom door is slammed open, and her body is pushed out onto Anika. Chad and Tara proceed to run out of the apartment thinking the rest of the group is behind them, but they aren't. Ghostface then lunges at Mindy and slices her shoulder, before Anika grabs Ghostfaces leg, which leads to Ghostface grabbing her by the throat.
Sam begins franticly looking around the kitchen for a weapon, but the knives are somehow gone from their block. Ghostface lifts up Anika by her neck slamming her into the fireplace then stabbing her in the stomach, twisting it, and slowly dragging it upwards while it's inside her stomach. Sam then grabs the knife block and hits Ghostface in the head with it, knocking him down for a few seconds. Chad and Tara realize the rest of the group is still upstairs right before Ghostface closes the apartment door. Sam, Mindy and Anika all run into Quinn's room in an attempt to barricade themselves. Ghostface stops banging on the bedroom door which leads to Sam realizing that he is going around the connected bathroom. She tells Mindy to go close the door but as Mindy goes into the bathroom she finds Quinn's boyfriend dead in the bathtub.
Ghostface then appears on the other side of the door as Mindy and Sam try to close it. They go to the other connected door to the bathroom and hold it shut before Sam gets a dresser to block it. Danny is across the alley yelling at Sam, and Sam goes and opens the window. Danny then gets a ladder from his apartment, and has it connecting from his window to Quinn's bedroom window. Sam asks Danny if he crazy, but it is the only way out. Sam tells Mindy and Anika to go, but Mindy says somebody needs to hold the door and that Anika will go next. Sam begins climbing across the ladder that is multiple stories off of the ground. While Sam it crawling across the ladder, Ghostface is slamming on the door while Mindy holds it, and Anika is bleeding out. Sam makes it across before Mindy gets away from the door telling Anika she needs to go next.
Anika keeps telling Mindy she needs to go first and that she will be right behind her. Anika and Mindy kiss before Mindy starts crawling across the ladder into Danny's apartment. Ghostface is getting closer and closer to getting the door open, as he can now fit his whole arm through and is pushing the dresser away. Mindy gets across and Sam, Danny and her all start screaming at Anika to come on, Anika begins crawling but when she is halfway, Ghostface gets into the room. Ghostface then stabs his knife into wooden window frame before grabbing onto the ladder with Anika on it, and shaking it very aggressively in all directions. Anika then begins to lose grip as Sam and her grab hands. But Anika is then thrown off of the ladder and falls from multiple floors, before she bashes her head onto a dumpster instantly killing her. Sam looks across as Ghostface takes his knife, and walks off.
