Ron (surname unknown) was a cameo character who appears in Scream 2 (1997 film). He was the host of talk show, Current Edition, and interviewed Cotton Weary after he had been proven to be innocent from the murder of Maureen Prescott.
Later, Sidney Prescott accidentally watched part of the interview as it was playing on TV when her roommate, Hallie McDaniel, turned it on.
He is portrayed by writer, Kevin Williamson.
