Mr. Becker welcomed his only daughter with his wife in 1979 in Woodsboro, California. His daughter used to date horror film enthusiast, Stu Macher. She then dated Steven Orth after she dumped him.

The Woodsboro Murders (1996)[]

On a late Wednesday night after 10 p.m. in September 1996, Mr. Becker and his wife came home. He observed and appreciated his wife's front property flowering arrangement before entering the house. After doing so, he asked, "Do you smell smoke?" Unbeknownst to him, his 17-year-old daughter's vocal cords had just been damaged, and she had just cried for her mother after being stabbed by Ghostface. She tried to say, "Mom", but Mrs. Becker could not hear her.

The Becker parents discovered the fire alarm having gone off and a chair from the patio that had been thrown through the glass door to their back porch, indicating a break-in. They immediately panicked and searched for Casey.

Mr. Becker told her to call 911, but was unable due to Casey being on the phone. Mrs. Becker heard noises from the phone with Casey's faint voice calling for her mother. Both parents were anxious and scared. He told his wife to drive to their closest neighbors' home, the McKenzies.

She hesitates out of the house sobbing and says to her husband, "Not my daughter..." She walks out of the front door to see Casey's dead, gutted corpse hanging from a tree and screams in true horror. Her husband rushes to her side to assess the commotion. She continues to scream in horror as Mr. Becker notices Casey and looks in horror at his daughter's dead body.

It is unknown how the murder affected the couple and whether they continued to reside in Woodsboro, over 27 years later.
