Monterey is a city in California, United States. It was formerly inhabited by Sidney Prescott.
History[]
After the events of the Windsor College Murders in 1997, Sidney Prescott went into hiding, relocating to a secluded house in the mountainous region in Monterey to avoid being attacked again sometime between 1997 to 1999.
During this time, she adopted a dog named Cherokee and took a telephone job for the California Women's Crisis Counseling hotline under the name "Laura".
Later, sometime after the Hollywood Murders concluded in 2000, Sidney most likely moved out of her secluded home in Monterey and relocated to somewhere unknown before the events of the Woodsboro Massacre Remake in 2011.
