Mikey Madison is an actress who portrayed Amber Freeman in Scream (2022). She also appears in a photographic Easter egg in Scream VI (2023). She is also known for her roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), Anora (2024), Imposters (2017), and Better Things (2016).

In September 2020, she was cast in an undisclosed role in Scream (2022), later revealed to be Amber Freeman.[1]
Trivia[]
- Won an Academy Award for Best Actress at the 97th Academy Awards (2025) for her performance in Anora (2024), making Madison the first actress from the Scream franchise to win an Oscar, of who had previously portrayed a Ghostface killer.
- The second female Ghostface to be nominated for an Oscar respectively, preceded by Laurie Metcalf for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Lady Bird (2017).
- In reality, Madison would be the second actress to accomplish this in the overall franchise, the first being Anna Paquin (as Rachel from Stab 7) from Scream 4, the difference being the Oscar each won, although similar in that each were the youngest in their nominated category to win, 31 years apart.
- Madison won Best Actress, while Paquin won Best Supporting Actress for The Piano (1993), the second youngest winner in history, at the 66th Academy Awards (1994).
