Matthew Lyn Lillard is an actor who portrayed Stu Macher in Scream (1996 film). He also appears in a photographic Easter egg in Scream VI (2023). He is set to appear in Scream 7 (2026).[1]
He then had an uncredited cameo appearance as "Guy at Party" in Scream 2 (1997). In Scream 3 (2000), Stu's sound archive was heard at the Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro set. Matthew was supposed to appear in Scream 4 (2011), as one of the people at Stab-A-Thon, mainly because he was visiting Neve Campbell (during the filming).
He also portrayed Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry Conlaine in Without A Paddle (2004), and William Afton in Five Nights at Freddy's (2023).
Lillard went on to play Ghostface in the portion of the Stab remake that appeared in the fifth Scream film because he wanted to be involved with the new project.
