"Halloween" is the first part of the special Halloween installment, which was set following the events of When a Stranger Calls. It is the thirteenth episode of Season 2 and the twenty-third episode of the series overall. It aired on October 18, 2016, as part one of a two-hour Halloween Special.
Plot
8 months after Kieran's arrest, Emma is struggling to focus on her future. Noah and Stavo have combined forces to create a best-selling graphic novel based on the Kieran Wilcox murders and Audrey is in a new relationship. Brooke wants a fresh new start , but she is met with a cold response from her friends.

- The title of the episode is a homage to the 1978 slasher horror film, "Halloween" which was directed by John Carpenter.
- The episode was originally titled "The Last House on The Left", but was changed for unknown reasons.

- On August 16, 2016, a first sneak peek was revealed in Scream After Dark. It shows Kieran Wilcox in jail discovering someone in the Killer's costume above him in the ventilation systems.
