Alicia Haverland, also known as Deputy Haverland, is a minor character that appears in Season 1 (2015) of the television series, Scream.

With her first (and so far, only) appearance, was in the third episode of the first season, "Wanna Play a Game?" at the park looking for 17-year old Tyler in a sting operation (due to being set up as the prime suspect of being the Lakewood Slasher), alongside Deputy Mike Newsome and her former boss and sheriff Clark Hudson, who was posing as a decoy of 16-year old Riley Marra, in order to get the suspect to trust her and then catch and arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of the Second Lakewood Murders (2015-2016) committed nearly 21 years to the date of the original in 1994.

However, she and the other deputies at the Lakewood Sheriff's Department including her own former sheriff are unaware of the fact of Tyler being a posthumous victim; who's vehicle and dismembered head and body would be used as a ploy by the actual killers, 20 year old Autopsy of a Crime podcaster Piper Shaw and her accomplice being 17-year old Kieran Wilcox, a junior from George Washington High School, and the sheriff's own son and later killer; with Piper being the daughter of framed serial .

Despite this, some newspaper articles shown throughout the first season, as well as in Season 2 (2016), show her first name as Alicia, implying that she was a journalist covering the Lakewood Murders.

She is portrayed by Carmela Zumbado.

  • It is possible that her full name, Alicia Haverland, as depicted in some newspaper clippings throughout the first and second season, implies that she was also a journalist (either part time or full, if she had left the Lakewood police force).
