Dara Alden was a sophomore at George Washington High School and the first victim to die during Brandon James' killing spree in Lakewood. She was one of the people who picked on Brandon, and was the first victim of the Halloween 1994 murders. He gets revenge on her by killing her. However, it's later revealed to be that James was framed, thus her death was committed by the 94 Killer (identity unknown).
Dara is the first victim of the Lakewood Murders spanning two decades, and the first female victim of the Lakewood Slasher overall over the course of the first and second season of the TV series.

Early Life[]
Not much is known about Dara other that she was born approximately between June 1978-August 1979 in the small town of Lakewood, Louisiana to unknown parents. Growing up, she would attend the same public high school as future victims Brett Keener, Trent Price, Laura Cossey, and Mike Vinson, as well as with future survivors, Margaret "Daisy" Anderson, Kevin Duval, and Miguel Acosta.

Dara is running away across a field terrified and is found by Brett Keener, she hysterically asks "What did you do to him?" as Brett replies "What he deserved" and turns to look away, he looks back and sees Dara's throat has been slit.

- Chronologically the first victim of the TV series.
- Dara's murder along with the other victims of the 94 Lakewood Slasher would predate the murder of Maureen Prescott by nearly a year (unstated if the TV series is connected to the movies.)
- Similar to Maureen as the first victim (female) in the Woodsboro Murders in Scream, Dara is also the first female victim of the Lakewood Murders, spanning two decades.
- Dara shares the same initials (D.A) as American actor David Arquette, who portrays Dewey Riley in the Scream films.
