Cici Cooper talks with her friend as she hears noises upstairs.
While skimming through the television, Cici Cooper talked to her friend on the phone. After she got another call, she put her friend on hold so she could take the call, believing it to be her drunk boyfriend, "Ted". Unbeknowest to her, it was actually Ghostface, Nancy Loomis.
Her friend is not aware that she is conversing with a killer, and is left believing that the killer was Ted after hanging up.
