Wanna Play a Game?[]

As Dara Alden is running away, Brett catches her and informs her that he's probably close and has no remorse on what he did to Brandon James, as he turns away, Dara's throat is slit. Brett grabs a nearby stick and tells him to stay away. As he attempts to runaway he trips and turns to see Brandon, who steps on his foot. Brett attempts to hit Brandon with the stick but he grabs it and uses it to impale him through the eye.

Trivia[]

  • The first and only victim in the franchise to be stabbed in the eye.
  • The first and only victim to be killed with a stick
  • The first victim in the franchise to be stabbed and killed with something other than a bowie knife on-screen.
    • The Lakewood Slasher would continue to use unique weapons on their victims throughout the series. Ghostface on the 3rd season would also do this.
  • Chronologically the first victim in the franchise to not killed with a bowie knife or a firearm.
  • Him and the other victims of the 94 Lakewood Slasher predate the murder of Maureen Prescott by nearly a year (unstated if the TV series and movies are connected).
  • The first bully character in the franchise both chronologically and seen on-screen.
    • Technically his friend Kevin Duval would be the first, but he isn't seen until the 8th episode and just referenced up until that point.
  • Out of the villainous character in the franchise who aren't the killers, Brett and his friends might be the worst due to bullying and physically beating Brandon and convincing the town he is some sort of monster, which caused him to be framed for the 94 killings and nearly killed by the police.
    • Out of all the villainous characters he does have the shortest screen time, but his actions (along with his friends) have a lasting impact on Brandon.
  • Along with John Milton, he is one of the least sympathetic victims of a killer in the franchise.
