As of Scream VI, Gale Weathers has written a total of 10 books, a mix of fiction and non-fiction books. The majority of her books focused on the various Ghostface murder sprees, with her later books taking a more fictional approach as there were no further murder sprees to base the books off.
Her first book focused on the murder of Maureen Prescott and trying to prove that Cotton Weary was innocent. Her fourth book, Stabbed In The Back focused on the secrets behind Sunrise Studios. The book was originally published anonymously, but Gale at some point took credit for the book, with it being displayed in the Ghostface Shrine. Gale's books continued to remain works of fiction until her latest book, Requel: Terror Returns To Woodsboro, wrote about the 2022 Woodsboro Murders. Interestingly enough, she never wrote a book on the 2011 Woodsboro Murders.
Majority of Gale's books were adapted into the Stab film series, however, her latest book couldn't be sold for a movie adaptation as the focus is now on true crime limited series'.

- Wrongly Accused: The Maureen Prescott Murder: Her first book that detailed the murder of Maureen Prescott and tried to prove the innocence of Cotton Weary.
- The Woodsboro Murders: Her second book that detailed the original Woodsboro Murders in 1996.
- College Terror: Her third book that detailed the Windsor College Murders in 1997 (continuity error).
- Stabbed in the Back: The True Sunrise Story: Her fourth book that detailed the secrets behind Sunrise Studios, originally published anonymously.
- Hollywood Horror: Her fifth book that detailed the Hollywood Murders in 2000 (continuity error).
- Knife of Doom: Her sixth book which was the first fictional story she wrote. It continued on from Hollywood Horror, but focused on completely fictionalised events.
- Clock of Doom: Her seventh book which detailed a killing spree in which Ghostface made use of time travel.
- Ghostface Returns: Her eighth book which continued on the fictionalized Ghostface killing sprees.
- Knife of the Hunter: Her ninth book which continued on the fictionalized Ghostface killing sprees.
- Requel: Terror Returns To Woodsboro: Her tenth book which detailed the Woodsboro Legacy Murders in 2022 (continuity error).
