The Bodega Attack was the attack right after the opening scene in Scream VI. In this attack, we see Samantha and Tara Carpenter running into a bodega as Ghostface attacked them. When entering the bodega, Ghostface kills a customer by stabbing him repeatedly. Then, when a second customer comes to attempt to attack them, Ghostface stabs him in the neck.
When the Bodega Clerk attempts to shoot Ghostface, he avoids the attempt just in time. Ghostface then stabs the clerk in the shoulder and shoots him in the head. In total, there were 3 male Bodega victims.

Trivia[]
- The first three (male) unnamed and random civilian deaths of Ghostface in the Scream franchise, given they were not the intended targets of their killer (Wayne Bailey), who'd be killed regardless, due to their proximity to the protagonists, and whom tried to fight off the killer to protect them and other civilians, as well as themselves.
- The three male Bodega victims being killed in quick succession by their respective Ghostface, would make them the second pair of three victims to all be killed in the same location, following Stab 3's director and fifth Ghostface, Roman Bridger's three cast victims (Angelina Tyler, Tyson Fox, Jennifer Jolie) at the Milton Estate during the Hollywood Murders in Scream 3.
- The Bodega victims would be the third pair of three male victims in a single location, succeeding the deaths Kenny Brown and the first two revealed Ghostface killers, Stu Macher (#2) and Billy Loomis (#1) at 261 Turner Lane in Scream, and of Robbie Mercer, Trevor Sheldon, and Ghostface #7, Charlie Walker, at 329 Whispering Lane in Scream 4.
- The three unnamed adult Bodega victims killed by a single male Ghostface on the same day, October 29th, in the New York Murders, would be a reference to the first three teen male victims (Tommy Jenkins, Avery Collins, and Latavious) of the Atlanta Murders by Jamal Elliot as Ghostface in Season 3, also murdered on the same day five years prior in 2018.
- As seen in the first episode "The Deadfast Club" (Tommy and Avery) and beginning of the second episode, "Devil's Night" (Latavious), with the deaths of the latter two being witnessed by the protagonists, just like the Carpenter sisters witnessed the Bodega murders (Avery's death to Marcus Elliot and Liv Reynolds and his group, Latavious's death to Kym), with Latavious's death and Ghostface then attempting to attack Kym after, similar to Wayne as Ghostface attempting to kill the Carpenter sisters hiding in the bodega.
- Each protagonist would also have a phone call by the killer, go outside, and manage to get away from their attempted attacks by them and alert the authorities, with some differences (seeing as Kym went outside her apartment only, while on the phone in order to be seen, didn't alert her neighbors until Ghostface appeared; whereas Sam and Tara were going out of their apartment to go to the NYPD station and Sam was then called by Ghostface via her deceased ex/former Ghostface #9 Richie Kirsch's number, before the killer then appeared to attack them and chased them to the Bodega where they tried to alert the clerk and other civilians, where the sisters would .
- Features two victims getting killed via a throat stab and slash by Ghostface in each (Tommy and the second unnamed Bodega victim).
