The Apartment attack was one of the attacks featured in Scream VI. This attack happened in the New York City apartment belonging to Samantha and Tara Carpenter. In this attack, there were a total of two victims, Paul 2.0 and Anika Kayoko.
The Core Four, including Anika and Quinn Bailey, are in Sam and Tara's apartment in with the four having a dinner night on Sunday, October 30th (see Continuity Errors). Whilst Quinn is on her phone, Ghostface (Ethan Landry) is seen in her room. As he stalks Quinn, he is seen by Danny Brackett who tries to get the attention of Sam. When Quinn tells Paul not to use her face wash in the bathroom, with the latter in the shower, Ghostface goes into the bathroom and stabs Paul multiple times to death "off-screen". He then proceeds to attack Quinn and "fake her death."
Danny eventually airdrops a photo of what's happening. Sam and the rest of the group go directly outside of Quinn's bedroom. Ghostface then throws her "dead body" on Anika, who then slices Mindy Meeks-Martin on her arm and stabs Anika in the stomach, after she attempts to hold the killer off of her girlfriend. Sam aids Anika by using the empty knife block to hit Ghostface in the head and stop them from stabbing Anika, who was trying to find a knife in the kitchen only to find none. Both Tara and Mindy's twin brother, Chad Meeks-Martin (former Ghostface survivors of brutal attacks) leave the apartment while Sam, Anika and Mindy run to Quinn's bedroom, as Ghostface then locks the front door, preventing Tara or Chad from entering.
Danny throws his ladder on the other side, vertically to connect the apartment to his. Sam is the first one to go across it and is successful. Anika forces Mindy to go next while Ghostface is trying to break his way into the room.
By the time Anika is going on the ladder, Ghostface enters the room. Anika pleads in help and Ghostface starts tipping and shoving the ladder. When Anika tries to grab Sam's hand, Ghostface tips the ladder over making Anika fall to her death.

Trivia[]
- Many people in this attack believed Quinn Bailey was dead, but it was later revealed in Act 3 that she faked her death and was one of the Ghostface killers.
- Ethan Landry was the masked Ghostface committing this attack, wearing Billy Loomis' old mask and robe during it.
- The murder of Paul and Anika as a male-female duo, and as non-romantic interests (given Paul was Quinn's lover, and Anika as Mindy's girlfriend) and non-acquaintances, is a reverse to the previous victims in the Scream franchise, traditionally in the opening second and the second-third act, also being male-female, and of who usually are acquainted with the protagonists.
- The duo's death at night at the Carpenter sisters' New York apartment is a reference to the deaths of Christine Hamilton and Cotton Weary at his Hollywood condo, as the first two victims of the Hollywood Murders in Scream 3. Both were killed by a male Ghostface (Roman Bridger to Ethan Landry) at night, and of who's roles before their deaths are referenced (Christine was showering, just like Paul was, and unlike him, she wasn't killed while she had been in the shower, but after she got out and dressed).
- Only difference being that both Anika and Paul were present during each's separate murders in the same apartment in separate rooms, as Cotton wasn't home with Christine, due to being in traffic on the Hollywood Freeway and racing to save Christine after getting a call by Ghostface.
